Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative offers an opportunity to work for a small member-owned electric utility whose priorities are safety, quality of service, and affordable prices. The Cooperative blends high technology with proven techniques to deliver power to approximately 12,000 members.

Your Cooperative serves more than 11,000 members in portions of Augusta, Barry Lakes, Frankford Township, Hardyston, Highland Lakes, Lafayette, Vernon, and Wantage, all in Sussex County, NJ, plus a small portion of Orange County, NY. We also have a fifty year utility service contract with the U.S. Army to provide utility service at Picatinny Arsenal.
