Raymond William "Ray" Cordts was a longtime director on Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative's board of directors and a steward of the community. Ray began his banking career in 1969 and most recently served as a Senior Vice President of Lakeland Bank.
Through the Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative Goodwin Scholarship, each year Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative offers up to two $2,000.00 scholarships to students pursuing college after graduation. Applicants must be current high school seniors and be able to furnish necessary essay, transcripts, recommendations, and other required information through the application form below. To apply, complete the application form below by March 7th, 2024.

To be eligible to receive any scholarships or awards through Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative, students must live in a household powered by Sussex REC with a parent or guardian who is a Sussex REC member.
