Every home, business, or other structure powered by Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative has an SREC-owned electric meter installed on the outside. Your Cooperative uses data collected by your home's meter to determine how much electricity was used during a given billing period.

Request for Final Reading

If you are moving out and wish to terminate your electric service, we ask that you provide written notice at least three (3) business days in advance of your requested disconnect date so that we may be assured of meeting your need in a timely manner.

Disconnects are only performed during regular business hours (Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm).
