Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare General Ledger entries for monthly and year-end closings including Fixed Asset accounting/maintenance, Bank Reconciliation, General Ledger Reconciliations
- Compile financial records, financial statements, tax returns, audit work papers
- Assist in the effective management and communication of cash flow related issues
- Process Weekly Payroll
- Support corporate initiatives to enhance financial reporting
- Assist in representation of the Company in financial audits and reviews
- Support process improvement initiatives for specific areas of responsibility
- Support the Finance and Accounting team as needed in addition to special projects

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years general accounting experience
- Knowledge in areas of expense analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, asset management.
- Familiarity of utility accounting preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
