Socktober Sock Drive
September 28th through October 30th
Did you know that socks are one of the most sought-after items from homeless shelters, clothing banks, and charitable organizations, but the least donated?
We are working with local student Tessa Pelak from Vernon to support her Socktober collection drive, collecting new socks in all sizes. As New Jersey's Youth Leadership Council representative, Tessa devised this project to help increase supply of needed socks with local clothing ministries.
From September 28th through October 30th, Sussex REC will serve as a collection site, accepting new socks in all sizes. Please refer to the information below to donate at our office:

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm
Donation bin located in lobby - Please ring doorbell for entry

- The Daily Bean in Vernon, NJ
- Vernon Township School District in Vernon, NJ - Students, parents, and staff can bring donations to their school
- High Point Regional High School in Sussex, NJ - Students, parents, and staff can bring donations to the guidance office
